The home at 105 N. Bloodworth Street is a Charleston inspired house designed by Prado Construction. The construction process was managed by Prado Construction for another builder. The home features 2670 square feet, 3 bedrooms, 2 ½ baths with a third floor loft reached by an elegant spiral wrogut iron staircase. The home’s special features include a double deck covered front porch, and a custom built fireplace mantel.

103 N. Bloodworth Street

This home was designed by Prado Construction.  The home features a Queen Ann gabled front façade, with 2700 square feet, 4 bedrooms, 2 ½ baths, a media room on the third floor, and a 1 car garage.

Second Story Screened in Porch Addition

A 200 sq. ft. screened in porch, with ceiling fan, was added off the second floor master bedroom of this early 1900’s Victorian home in Historic Oakwood.  The addition gives the owner a beautiful outdoor living space, with a great bird’s eye view of the neighborhood.

Five Points Renovation

This extensive renovation allowed the home owners to create the home they wanted in the neighborhood they desired.  The project transformed a 1950’s era brick rancher with 8 ft. ceilings into a 2 story, transitional design with 10 ft. ceilings on the first floor, and 9 ft. ceilings on the second floor.  The home design included a grand staircase, arched front porch façade, gourmet kitchen, dramatic entry foyer, and finished basement with theatre room. 

Historic Oakwood Renovation

This kitchen/family room renovation transformed 3 small, disjointed spaces into a focal room for the 100-year old home. Salvaged heart-of-pine flooring accent the kitchen and family room, as well as a unique in-wall fireplace. New cabinets and countertops, a new full bath, new crown molding and chair rails in the dining room all enhance the value of the home. French doors leading on to a new deck create an elegant view from the front porch to the back deck.

This basement renovation changed an unused, dark basement into a cozy media room with a wet bar, wall mounted flat screen TV, full bath with pocket door, and dramatic lighting. The bar features a beautiful granite countertop, built in wine bottle refrigerated storage, and special niches for glassware.

Garage Addition:

The aesthetic and economic value of this home both were increased by the renovation which involved adding an oversized, attached 2 car garage with 700 square feet of upstairs storage space for a future bonus room. Additionally, a laundry room was added and the formal dining room size was increased.
